Facebook Ads Are Cheap: Average CPCs in the U.S. Dropped 37% in Q4 2012

If you’re an advertiser in the U.S, now’s a great time to advertise on Facebook.

According to TBG Digital’s “Global Social Media Report: Q4 2012,” Facebook advertising costs hit a record low in the fourth quarter of last year.

CPCs
The report found that the average cost-per-click (CPCs) rates in the U.S. dropped 37 percent from the third to the fourth quarter of 2012. This followed a 40 percent drop from the second to the third quarter.

Canada also saw big drops, as CPCs in the country north of the border declined 37 percent in the fourth quarter and 27 percent in the previous quarter.
