Facebook Ad Interaction Rates Rise 46% After Thanksgiving

FacebookGloomy numbers from IBM be damned: According to Kenshoo Social, Facebook is becoming a more prominent destination for holiday gift ideas and purchases. According to Kenshoo Social, Facebook ad interaction rates in the U.S. have risen 46 percent after Thanksgiving. The company defines interactions as “any interaction with a Facebook ad following a click such as page like, app download, or sales transaction.” Kenshoo Social also found that return on ad spend from Facebook ads for U.S. retailers hit $10.95 on Cyber Monday. The company also found that direct sales revenue driven through Facebook ads surged 129 percent over the daily seasonal average on Cyber Monday. “As social marketers become savvier in their approach and deliver more relevant and targeted advertisements at scale, consumers on Facebook are more willing to engage with advertising,” said Aaron Goldman, CMO at Kenshoo.
