Orange, CA-based Experian has formed a strategic alliance with FloNetwork Inc., to exchange expertise.
The alliance will enable marketers to target their customers and prospects online, using Experian’s database marketing technology and FloNetwork’s e-mail-marketing management, analysis and tracking.
Greenwich, CT-based FloNetwork, which specializes in permission-based Internet direct marketing and communication services, will provide infrastructure, software and direct marketing expertise to deliver, test and deploy e-mail campaigns.
This apparently marks Experian’s first foray into e-mail marketing.
In a separate development, Scoot.com, London, a European information solutions company, has also entered in a strategic alliance with Experian to provide Internet information services.
Scoot’s chief executive, Robert Bonnier, explained, “Scoot will be using Experian’s extensive information to enhance its offerings to consumers across a range of key markets. The combination of Experian’s applications and Scoot’s established web presence will result in better informed decisions for both buyers and sellers.”
