Euro RSCG Wins $7.5 Million Switzerland Cheese Account

Switzerland Cheese has awarded its marketing account to Euro RSCG Worldwide. Billings are estimated at $7.5 million.

The first campaign—expected to launch mid-2004—will cover print and promotion. The work will cover worldwide communications, including the export markets Germany, France and Italy.

Agencies vying for the account included Jung von Matt/Limmat, Grey Advertising and Advico Young & Rubicam.

Meanwhile, Euro RSCG announced Jan. 8 that it had bought ad and promo shop Grupo Vale, Mexico City. The agency’s new name is Grupo Vale Euro RSCG. It operates separately from the network’s other Mexican shops, Betancourt Beker Euro RSCG and Euro RSCG Interaction. The purchase makes Euro RSCG the No. 3 agency name in Mexico.
