Draft’s Furth Named Chicago WDMI’s Direct Marketing Woman of the Year

The Chicago chapter of Women in Direct Marketing has named Yvonne Furth, president and chief operating officer of the Chicago office of ad agency Draft, its first “Direct Marketing Woman of the Year.”

The award honors those who have exhibited leadership and innovation in direct marketing and have made significant contributions to the industry.

“Yvonne Furth was chosen for her achievements as a pioneer and visionary and her many contributions to the advancement of the direct marketing industry,” said Jennifer Valentino, president of WDMI, in a statement.

“Yvonne has used her knowledge and leadership to develop significant advancements in the theory and practice of direct and interactive marketing at the same time she has served her community and created real opportunities for women.”

In her role as president and COO of Draft Chicago, Furth oversees all agency operations and works closely with several key accounts including Chicago Mercantile Exchange, DeVry University, Sprint, and the United States Postal Service. She joined the agency in 1981 as an assistant account executive, was named president of the Chicago office in 1992, and was given her current title in 2002.
