Draft Taps Rey for Cross-Cultural Post

Draft has hired cross-cultural marketing veteran Walkyria Rey as VP-director of cross-cultural marketing, a new post.

Rey, who goes by the name “Wally,” had been a consultant for vacuum marketer Dyson, Inc. handling trade promos, online marketing and product launches. She held earlier cross-cultural marketing posts at AT&T Wireless, Clorox Co. and the U.S. Army.

“We have had a strong cross-cultural marketing presence out of our New York office and are pleased to bring that offering to our clients in Chicago,” said Draft Chicago President-COO Yvonne Furth in a statement.

The native Brazilian, fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, will report to Draft Chicago CMO Tony Weisman.
