DoubleClick Inc., the online advertising services firm, has unveiled some anti-spam initiatives in an attempt to help legitimate marketers and the e-mail marketing industry better understand and leverage policy, research, education and technology, in the fight against spam.
The company plans to put out a quarterly report, which will address developments pertaining to legislators, regulators, Internet Service Providers and e-mail destinations progress relative to spam.
DoubleClick will also conduct a research and education program to gain a greater understanding of consumer reactions to spam.
