The report quotes DMA COO Ramesh Lakshmi-Ratan as saying the DMA will fold its current Email Marketing Council, and the new entity will operate under the EEC banner.

EEC founder Jeanniey Mullen will be named executive co-chair of the new DMA division, while Michael Della Penna, CMO of Epsilon and a former chair of the Email Marketing Council, will be named executive co-chair of the new group.

EEC will relocate its headquarters from Upper Montclair NJ to the DMA’s New York City offices.
