The Direct Marketing Association’s Ethics & Consumer Affairs Department will host a call-in briefing on the new federal anti-spam law on Monday, Dec. 15 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST.
“The New Federal Spam Law: What You Need To Know About The Law and How To Comply,” will focus on the ins and outs of the new law, which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2004.
The seminar, which is closed to the press, will be presented by The DMA’s Privacy Counsel, Ron Plesser and Stuart Ingis from Piper Rudnick; Jerry Cerasale, The DMA’s senior VP for government affairs; and Emily Hackett, state policy director of the Internet Alliance.
