Women’s apparel direct marketer Diplomat Direct Marketing Corp., Teaneck, NJ, has named Warren H. Golden president and CEO. Since February 1998, Golden has served as COO, executive vice president and a director of the firm. He replaces Jonathan Rosenberg who left the company to pursue an overseas venture.
The company also named Mark J. McSweeney CFO. He previously served as executive vice president of men’s apparel cataloger Atlantic Rancher Co.
With many years of experience in retailing and catalog operations, Golden joined Lew Magram–a predecessor to Diplomat–in 1991. Earlier, he held executive positions with women’s apparel retailers Honeybee Inc. and Plymouth Shops. Prior to his experience with Atlantic Rancher, McSweeney was vice president of finance/administration at New England Serum Co., a pet supplies cataloger.
