Singer Direct Inc. has named Diane Silverman as vice president of the list management division. The appointment took effect Feb. 12.
She will be responsible for the recently acquired BMG Music Service files of 8 million music club buyers. “Our goal is to grow that business,” Silverman said.
Singer Direct, Scarsdale, NY, has been managing the BMG package insert business since last April, she said.
Silverman has 24 years of experience in the list business, five years at Reader’s Digest and 19 years at Bookspan (formerly Doubleday). She was a former chair of the Direct Marketing Association’s List and Database Council.
