Deutsche Post International plans to step up its marketing efforts targeting U.S. companies that send direct mail and magazines to European addresses.
The German postal service, Europe’s largest, plans over the next few months to highlight its experience and help customers plan and execute international mail programs while navigating Europe’s constantly changing postal landscape.
Deutsche Post began building its U.S. infrastructure with the acquisition of Global Mail Ltd. and YellowStone International, an international publications distributor based in Elk Grove Village, IL. Earlier this year, Deutsche Post opened its first office outside Europe in Fairfax, VA. In addition, it has recently opened a mail hub at the Frankfurt am Main airport in Germany.
