D&B CEO to Retire in 2005

Allan Z Loren, chairman and CEO of D&B (formerly Dun & Bradstreet) announced that he will retire in May 2005. He will be succeeded by Steven W. Alesio, D&B’s president and chief operating officer.

The transition will take place in two phases during the next 12 months. Loren will maintain his current responsibilities as chairman and chief executive officer through Dec. 31, at which point Alesio will take on the CEO role, in addition to his responsibilities as president. Loren will remain chairman through May 2005.
