Drew Barrymore is the latest famous face to represent makeup brand CoverGirl.
The deal marks the first time Barrymore has starred in a major beauty campaign. She will also be the co-creative director for the first TV spot, set to air in January 2008.
“Her role, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as co-creative director, is new and different for the cosmetics industry,” said Esi Eggleston Bracey, vice president and general manager, CoverGirl Cosmetics in North America.
