Court TV this week hosted a $25,000 giveaway in New York City to tout its new show Impossible Heists.

Court TV set up a “safe” in the Time Warner Center mall near Central Park and invited passers by to try their hand at cracking the code. Each contestant got three numbers that, put in the right order, would open the safe. Players who opened the safe chose from 50 envelopes, each with a prize—from Court TV sweatshirts to iPods to a $25,000 cash grand prize. LeadDog Marketing Group, New York City, handled.
Tie-ins with two radio stations promoted the event. Reality show
Impossible Heists pits two teams of professionals (security guards, ex-cops, locksmiths, stunt men) against each other in recreations of five famous heists (of art and gems). The show runs for five weeks.
