Computer retailer CompUSA Inc., Dallas, has appointed Stephen Polley as chairman/CEO of CompUSA Direct, its mail order and Internet business. Polley, 47, has over 25 years of experience in the high-tech industry. For the past five years, he served in a variety of positions–most recently chairman, CEO and president–for Interphase Corp., a networking company. Previously Polley was the president and chief executive of Intellicall Inc. and president of PRC Realty Systems Inc. and PRC LoanExpress Inc. Polley has also served as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Consulting.
