A Chicago-area marketing company is relocating to Rockford, IL this month and will hire 50 local workers to staff its call center, according to news reports.
Quancor Marketing Solutions is moving operations from Roselle into the former Sundstrand personnel building at 4751 Harrison Ave.
The company Monday began interviewing potential employees for telemarketing rep and supervisor positions.
Quancor will occupy 4,600 sq. ft of the 40,000-sq. ft. building.
The company provides outbound and inbound telemarketing, answering, direct mail and teleconferencing services and Web site design for more than 75 clients.
In spite of recent contraction in the U.S. call center industry, Quancor has increased its staff 20% from last year.
