Coca-Cola Co. last week named Donald R. Knauss, president of the North American business. He had headed the North American retail division.
Knauss, 53, replaces Steven J. Heyer, 51, Coke’s president and COO, who took over the job last year after the unit’s president resigned. Heyer is a candidate for the company’s top job. Douglas N. Daft, 60, the chairman and CEO said last week that he would retire at the end of the year.
