Joe Eberhardt, the executive vice president for global sales, marketing and service for Chrysler, is resigning to take a job with Mercedes-Benz, The New York Times reported yesterday.
Eberhardt will work in a retail position with the North American operation of Mercedes-Benz, the report said.
He joined DaimlerChrysler in 1982 in Germany as a work-study student.
