The rate of adoption of iOS and Android devices surpasses anything we’ve seen from any computer technology ever, according to new data from Flurry. The mobile analytics company estimates that there were more than 640 million such mobile devices in use during July.
“Compared to recent technologies, smart device adoption is being adopted 10X faster than that of the 80s PC revolution, 2X faster than that of 90s Internet Boom and 3X faster than that of recent social network adoption,” according to Flurry.
