Catapult Hires Former Kraft Director to Handle Marketing Insights

Catapult Action-Biased Marketing has named Seth Diamond to the new position of vice president of marketing insights, a new position.

Diamond joined Catapult from Kraft Foods, Inc., where he worked as senior director of consumer insights and strategy. Prior to that, he held posts at Kraft of new services senior marketing director; CRM marketing director; director, research innovation; and e-commerce director, consumer insights and strategy.

Prior to his tenure at Kraft’s Tarrytown, NY, offices, he worked at Kraft’s Post Cereal Division in Rye Brook, NY. He also worked at Clairol in Stamford and at Kraft’s Maxwell House Division in White Plains, NY.

In his new post, he will be based in Westport, CT at the agency’s headquarters. Catapult also has offices in Los Angeles, Nashville, Bentonville, Phoenix, and Singapore.

Catapult’s clients include Subway, Reckitt Benckiser, Dannon, DelMonte, Mars Petcare, Foster’s Wine, Intel, M&M/Mars, Novartis, Uncle Ben’s and Sara Lee.

Catapult Marketing was named Promo’s 2009 Agency of the Year. The agency ranked No. 32 at the Promo 100 with 2008 revenue of $28.5 million. Draftfcb ranked No. 1 with $591 million in 2008 revenue. It was also ranked as the No. 5 shopper-marketing agency by HUB Magazine.
