Catalog Holdings Acquires Norm Thompson
Catalog Holdings Inc. has completed its acquisition of Hillsboro OR-based Norm Thompson Outfitters Inc. and its three catalog titles Norm Thompson, Solutions and Sahalie, which was formerly known as Early Winters. Terms were not disclosed.
“We are very excited to welcome Norm Thompson to the Catalog Holdings family of women’s apparel and specialty brands, said in a statement Stefan Kaluzny, managing director of the San Francisco-based equity investment firm Golden Gate Capital, which owns Catalog Holdings.
The Norm Thompson titles join Spiegel, Newport News, Appleseed’s, Draper’s & Damon’s and The Tog Shop, which are also owned by Catalog Holdings. It acquired Spiegel in June 2004. Last year it acquired Appleseed’s and Draper’s & Damon’s.
With this latest acquisition, Catalog Holdings projects it will have annual revenues in excess of $700 million.
The firm said it’s looking for more opportunities to acquire similar brands.
