Phillips will oversee mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, business performance analysis, international financial planning, and organization staffing. She had been VP-finance and enterprise strategic sourcing, and helped Carlson Cos. consolidate operations into a shared financial services group.
Phillips replaces CFO Bob Ross, who left the company; her promotion was effective Jan. 17.
Carlson ranked No. 65 in the 2004 PROMO 100 with 2003 net revenues of $234 million, down 12% from 2001.
