Career Education Corp. Chooses Acxiom for Data Services
Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, AR will provide Career Education Corp. with data center and network management services for CEC’s 42 campuses, schools and universities.
“Our decision to source our campus administration system to Acxiom brings us the operational capabilities, proximity, and responsiveness that we need. It also demonstrates that CEC remains committed to making technology investments that demonstrate value,” said Mark H. Griesbaum, CEC’s Chief Information Officer, in a statement.
Griesbaum continued, “CEC also hopes to expand its strategic relationship with Acxiom to incorporate direct marketing products and services that could help CEC grow its student market share.”
CEC provides postsecondary education in visual communication and design technologies, information technology, business studies and culinary arts. It operates 42 campuses, as well as on the Internet through AIU Online. Its headquarters are located in Hoffman Estates, IL.
