Candie’s Sponsors Fergie Music Tour

Candie’s is sponsoring superstar artist Fergie in her first solo tour with ticket giveaways and instant-win games that could put fans front and center at the concerts.

The company is giving away 200 tickets to Fergie’s “Verizon VIP Tour” at Kohl’s Department stores in each market where The Black Eyed Peas singer will perform. The 20-city concert series kicked off this month.

The giveaways are part of the department store’s Try 2 Win events, in which each customer who tries on Candie’s apparel, shoes or accessories receives a piece of bubble gum that will reveal whether they are an instant winner.

The two-hour events will take place on weekends two weeks before the Fergie concert in each market.

During concert stops, the Candie’s commercial featuring Fergie will air and exclusive footage from the event will be added to the company’s Web site at Candies.com. Each night, the brand will host a fashion show, inviting eight fans to model clothing and accessories on stage.

The Iconix Brand Group owns and licenses the Candie’s brand. Products are sold at Kohl’s stores and online at Kohls.com. The company signed Fergie as its new spokesperson in January.

An online sweepstakes offers another chance to win tickets. Candie’s and Kohl’s are sponsoring a separate promotion to win a trip to a Fergie concert in Los Angeles with 10 friends, a $500 Kohl’s shopping spree and $500 spending money. Registration is available at Kohls.com/Candies.

The promotion runs through June 29.
