American Eagle will play cuts from the new album, Monkey Business, for three-hour listening parties in its 847 stores on Saturday, May 28. A sweeps at
ae.com will award a shopping spree with the band at American Eagle’s new flagship store in Seattle.
Stores in 13 top markets also will host additional events, including ticket giveaways to local Black Eyed Peas concerts, goodie bags for the first 50 shoppers, and American Eagle merchandise. P-O-P features images from the band’s music videos. DMX Music, Los Angeles, handles; the agency specializes in music and video programming for retail.
DMX helped bring the trendy teen retailer together with the band’s label, Los Angeles-based Interscope Records.
“We are always looking for creative ways to connect with our target demographic and this groundbreaking partnership enables us to provide them with a one-of-a-kind experience,” said American Eagle VP-marketing operations Adam Diamond in a statement.
