Aspen Marketing Group, Los Angeles, is once again in acquisition mode, having secured $120 million in financing from sources including Banque Nationale de Paris. The agency purchased Norris Sales Co., a Birmingham, AL, advertising specialty distributor with clients such as Pharmacia/Upjohn, Block Drug, and AmSouth Bancorporation. The buy “kicks off what we expect to be a very active fourth quarter,” says Aspen ceo Neal Vitale.
