An Australian official wants to ban direct mail offering real estate.
Stephen Robertson the natural resources minister for the Australian state of Queensland, said legislation would be introduced that would make sending unsolicited direct mail from real estate companies a criminal offense, reported the Courier Mail of Queensland.
Robertson said Internet databases are being misused for targeting postal mail that seeks real estate listings, which constitutes and invasion of consumers
