Book Club Associates, the UK’s biggest mail-order bookseller and unit of Bertelsmann, has been sold to the Munich-based industrial holding Aurelius, according to wire service reports.
Terms were not disclosed.
Aurelius already has subsidiaries in France, Ireland and Switzerland. Book Club Associates is the first U.K. company it has bought.
