Audi Sweeps Fuels Vacation Fun

Audi is giving consumers a chance to win a driving trip to the Rocky Mountains or the Utah Canyonlands in a 2007 Audi Q7.

Consumers have until May 15 to enter the 2007 Audi Q7 Sweepstakes at the Q7 micro-site Audiusa.com/audiq7. The winner will receive one of two driving adventure vacations. Each trip for four includes an Audi Q7 for the drive and accommodations at local luxury resorts in each region along the drive routes. Winners will take their driving vacations during the summer.

The 2007 Audi Q7 luxury SUV debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January.

“The all-new Q7 is truly making the impossible possible in the luxury SUV segment,” said Johan de Nysschen, executive VP, Audi of America Inc. in a statement. “Its combination of dynamic performance, versatility, innovative technology and luxurious appointments is unparalleled.”

To push the new vehicle, the Auburn Hills, MI-based subsidiary of the German car maker also partnered with the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF), a non-profit organization, to sponsor its 14th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Dinner and After Party, held yesterday. A 2007 Audi Q7 was auctioned off at the benefit and Audi A8s and Audi Q7s were used to chauffer celebrities and VIPs to the black-tie cocktail party and dinner.

In addition, a “Test Drive an Audi to Help Fight AIDS” program launched the beginning of the month in New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco markets. During the program, which runs until Dec. 31, prospective Audi owners will be sent EJAF incentive cards. Card holders who test drive an Audi will have a $50 donation made in their name to the EJAF. Card holders that purchase or lease a new Audi will have a $500 donation made in their name.
