McDonald’s is out with a new contest to boost sales in Chicago by asking locals—and others—to build an iconic burger representative of the area.
At BurgerBuildOff.com you can choose from eight buns, various stacks of patties, all kinds of cheeses, toppings, veggies and sauces to build the best burger.
The contest wants authenticity for the winning burger so it’s open only to residents of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, although others can build a burger, they just can’t win. Voting begins Aug. 24 to ferret out 10 finalists. The top two burgers will hit the Chicago market Nov. 30. The Chicago Tribune, of course, covers it all.
