Jay Schwedelson is stepping down as co-chair of the Council for Responsible E-mail (CRE) at the Association for Interactive Marketing. His two-year term expired Feb. 1.
“I look forward to being an active member of the CRE and doing whatever I can to help take it take it to the next level,” said Schwedelson, corporate vice president at Boca Raton, FL list company, Worldata.
Part of taking it to the next level will surely involve dealing with issues concerning a new CRE committee for list brokers and managers that Schwedelson started this week. The first conference call for the new group was on Tuesday afternoon.
