AOL Introduces New Ticker Advertising Format for Internet Videos

America Online has started offering a new format for video ticker advertising. It integrates banner advertising within online streaming video.

When consumers click the ticker advertising at bottom of videos the ad expands inside the window, while the video pauses.

If the user doesn’t interact with the full size ad, it will dissolve in 15 seconds leaving just branded text. Clicking on the text link will re-launch the ticker advertising rolling at the bottom of streaming video.
