Ameriquest Leveraging Stones Tour to Generate Leads

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Ameriquest Mortgage Co. is launching an online sweepstakes today that will send five consumers to meet The Rolling Stones and see them perform live, while helping the mortgage company generate new leads.

As presenting sponsor of the U.S. leg of The Rolling Stones On Stage Tour, Ameriquest will offer five consumers a "dream concert." The winners and their guests will fly to a future Rolling Stones show, where they will be escorted to the concert by The Bacon Brothers (Michael and Kevin Bacon), meet the Rolling Stones and see the show. The U.S. leg of the tour kicks off Aug. 21 in Boston and ends Jan. 23 in Chicago.

Ameriquest is also using the online sweeps platform to generate leads in real time. Consumers are asked at Ameriquest.com if they are in the market for a new mortgage, a refinance or other services, and that information is sent in real-time to Ameriquest for follow-up.

Consumers can also win instant prizes such as CDs, download Rolling Stones songs for free and play Rolling Stones-themed games.

"This is a great combination of a branding effort and a lead generator," said Pleasant Ridge, MI-based ePrize CEO Josh Linkner, whose company is handling the promotion. "The trend really is for large brands like Ameriquest to use their sponsorship to leverage their overall message. This solidifies the connection between The Rolling Stones and Ameriquest and the prize strategy brings brand identity to both."

Ameriquest used its sponsorship of Major League Baseball's All-Star Balloting to introduce the sweepstakes during last night's MLB All-Star Game. In-game announcements, TV spots and on-site promotions were used to promote.
