Patrón is launching on Amazon Echo and its Alexa Voice Service is on hand with the answers just in time for National Tequila Day (who knew?) on Sunday. Using voice commands, Patrón and Alexa become your neighborhood bartender offering drink suggestion and instructions on how to make the beverages, with Patrón, of course.
It’s another innovation in digital marketing for Patrón. Last year, the brand used VR headsets so consumers could travel to its distillery in Mexico, among other events and experiences, as part of the “The Art of Patrón Virtual Reality Experience” campaign. The sensorial immersion is seen from the perspective of a bee flying on a breathtaking up-close and personal visual journey that begins in the agave fields and continues through the gates of the Hacienda Patrón distillery, showcasing the sights and sounds of Patrón’s actual production, aging and bottling, the company said.
