Amazon.com, Seattle, named Diego Piacentini its senior vice president and general manager international. He had been vice president and general manager of Apple Computer Europe Inc.
As senior vice president and general manger international, a newly created position at Amazon, Piacentini will oversee existing international business in Germany and the United Kingdom as well as future global expansions.
