Alternate Marketing Networks Posts Loss

Alternate Marketing Networks Inc. reported a net loss of $38,990 for the fourth quarter, down from net income of $33,137 the year before.

Net sales for the online marketing technology and logistics services provider were $6.6 million, up from $4.3 million the year before.

The firm attributed its results to the acquisition of Dallas-based technology developer Hencie earlier in the year.

For the 2002 year, Alternate Marketing, also of Dallas, posted a net loss of $1.5 million, compared with a net loss of $404,871 the year before.

Net sales for the year were $20.3 million, up from net sales of $16.6 million for fiscal 2001.

“We have fully integrated Hencie’s technology capability and management expertise into our existing business and expect to see continued financial growth in 2003,” stated chairman Phil Miller in a statement. “We believe we are well positioned in our diversified business services for the expected economic recovery.”
