38% of Adults Think It’s Easier to Solve World Peace Than Remember Passwords

Solving the conundrum of world peace is an easier task than remembering all of your passwords, according to nearly 4 in 10 respondents to a survey from Janrain, a social login, social sharing, social profile storage and single-sign-on-solutions company. This may lend some weight to the argument that websites should strongly consider using social logins to make registration and user experiences smoother.

The “2012 Online Registration and Password” survey from Janrain was conducted from July 20-24, and used responses from 2,208 adults ages 18 and older.

According to the study, 58 percent of respondents have five or more unique passwords
