Interactive marketing firm 24/7 Real Media Inc. has named Garret Vreeland senior vice president sales, media solutions; Ari Bluman. senior vice president, distribution and operations, media solutions; and Robert Hess vice president, West Coast technology sales.
Vreeland will be responsible for sales and customer service for the company’s 24/7 Web Alliance, which has more than 66 million monthly unique users. He joins 24/7 Real Media from LookSmart, a search-marketing firm, where he was vice president, national sales, since Feb. 2002. Before that, he served four years as vice president of advertising sales for Lycos. Prior to joining Lycos, he held ad sales positions at Time Inc.’s Pathfinder and Money Magazine. Vreeland started his career in account management at Ogilvy & Mather and Compton Advertising.
As senior vice president, distribution and operations, media solutions, Bluman will oversee day-to-day operations of the 24/7 Web Alliance, including rolling out new targeting technologies. Since Nov. 2002,.he had been 24/7’s vice president, direct solutions. Prior to that he also served as a vice president, direct marketing, inside sales and e-mail brokerage, as well as an account executive. Bluman joined the New York-based company in 1997.
Hess will lead the West Coast technology sales force. He has been with the company for two years. Prior to 24/7, Hess was with Andale.com, Honesty.com, the Chicago Sun-Times and Howard Publications.
