1-800 Contacts Inc. reported a net loss of $600,000 for the third quarter, down from net income of $1.4 million last year.
The contact lens direct marketer reported net sales of $60.9 million for the quarter ended Oct. 1, up 7% from $56.9 million last year.
“Needless to say, these operating results are disappointing,” said Jonathan Coon, CEO of the Draper, UT company in a statement. “Our sales have been softer than anticipated.
