World Wrestling Entertainment refreshed its 20-year commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a new multi-year, multi-million-dollar sponsorship deal this week.
WWE will kick off its renewal with its biggest wish-granting event to date reaching more than 50 children at Wrestlemania XXIV on March 30 in Orlando, FL. The children will get to meet their WWE heroes during a weekend of activities at Universal Orlando Resort, and will attend the Wrestlemania event.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. WWE performers have helped fulfill hundreds of wishes over the past 20 years of its involvement with Make-A-Wish.
“Now we’re taking that relationship to a new level,” said WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in a statement.
