Winterthur has eliminated about 61 jobs, or 10% of its workforce, as part of a restructuring of its catalog business, according to the Delaware Valley News Journal.
The museum is re-evaluating its gift catalog business, one of two operations that make up a high-end operation that at one time propped up Winterthur’s finances and acted as a marketing tool for the renowned museum.
The archive of American decorative arts was founded by Henry Francis du Pont.
