Williams-Sonoma Reports Increased Revenue

Williams-Sonoma Inc. said that net revenue for the eight-week holiday period ended Dec. 28,2003, increased 17% to $723 million, including $38 million of shipping fees.

During the same period in 2002, net revenue was $620 million, which included $31 million of shipping fees.

Direct sales increased 29% to 217 million, versus $168 million for the eight-week period ended Dec. 29, 2002. The Pottery Barn, PBTeen and Pottery Barn Kids brands drove most of the increase.
