Marketers are jacking into tie-ins with Warner Bros.’ certain block bluster, “The Matrix: Reloaded.”
Heineken, White Plains, NY, next week kicks off a month-long campaign that features TV spots, online extensions, on-premise materials and “Matrix”-themed P-O-P materials.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros. sister company AOL is running a Red Carpet sweepstakes that will award one AOL subscriber a trip to Los Angeles to attend the “Matrix” premiere and act as a press photographer on the red carpet.
The winner’s photos will be posted in an online photo album with a poll for AOL members to choose their favorite picture. The sweeps runs through April 28. AOL handles in-house.
