Viking Office Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Office Depot Inc., has opened an e-commerce site in the Netherlands under the URL www.VikingDirect.nl.
“Customer response to our Web sites in Germany and the United Kingdom has been very positive and we now look forward to a similar response to our new Dutch site,” Bruce Nelson, president of Office Depot International and chief executive officer of Viking Office Products said in a statement.
“Looking forward, our goal is to continue building Internet sites throughout Europe,” he added.
