Valassis Communications, Inc., the Livonia, MI-based newspaper freestanding insert and direct mail marketer, has joined forces with VNU Marketing Information, Inc., to create a new venture, “Valassis Relationship Marketing Systems,” that will target consumers based on frequent shopper data.
