Valassis Communications, Livonia, MI, has purchased Alternative Marketing Networks Inc.’s offline sampling business. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The purchase includes Alternative Marketing’s in-home sampling programs that provide door-to-door delivery of targeted consumer goods, as well as its Media Optimizer national database and other proprietary delivery products. Alternative Marketing retained its recently developed online sampling site.
Alternative Marketing Networks is based in Grand Rapids, MI and Norwalk, CT.
