Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. has named Beth Goss executive vice president of Cartoon Network’s ad sales, marketing and enterprises group. The post takes effect Jan. 29.
In her new role, Goss will oversee the ad sales, promotions and consumer products departments for Cartoon Network. She replaces Kim McQuilken.
Goss will report to David Levy, president of Turner Entertainment ad sales and marketing and president of Turner Sports. She will be based in New York.
She joins Cartoon Network from Universal Pictures where she worked as executive vice president of the company’s consumer products group. In that role, Goss managed global licensing and retail strategies and Universal’s operating divisions.
Prior to that, Goss worked as executive vice president of Universal’s The Brand Group from 2002-2004. She joined the company in 1999 as senior vice president of promotions where she developed marketing campaigns to support home video releases and consumer products.
