Anna Nicole Smith will not be dropped as a spokesperson for weight-loss supplement TrimSpa despite erratic behavior during Sunday’s American Music Awards.
“Smith was a customer first and TrimSpa wouldn’t fire Anna or any of our customers,” said TrimSpa founder and CEO Alex Goen in a statement. “It was serendipity; a fortunate discovery by chance that Anna found our product. She happens to be one of TrimSpa’s most highly recognized customers and certainly one of the greatest weight-loss success stories among American celebrities.”
Smith slurred her speech and rambled on as she presented at the awards show and afterwards during televised post-show interviews.
Smith’s weight-loss by use of TrimSpa is chronicled on her own reality television show, which appears on E! Entertainment Network.
