Travel Dynamics, Scottsdale, AZ, has signed a letter of intent to acquire Bountiful, UT-based Columbus Companies. Columbus Companies is a travel and incentive marketing firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Columbus Companies partners Larry Gelwix and Mark Faldmo will remain with the company after the acquisition.
As part of the acquisition, Travel Dynamics will gain Columbus Companies’ Web site, a fax and e-mail travel deal update service, a monthly magazine that focuses on discount travel offesr, and rights to “Insider Secretes to Killer Travel Deals,” a book written by Gelwix. The deal also includes a number of travel package discount coupon programs.
Travel Dynamics markets discount entertainment and travel packages, as well as tax planning, educational, and home-based business facilitation products.
